Normand Lachance, the director of Design Signature Furniture, was given a daunting challenge in the summer of 2006. “I have 3,500 square feet in Westcreek Plaza,” said the new development’s owner, “and I want you to create a furniture store like nothing else anywhere. You have six months. Go.”

Normand applied his experience as a retail business owner and world traveler to design – from floor to ceiling – a distinctive showroom experience. The result is a contemporary store that offers quality and affordability. “My guiding principle,” says Normand, “is finding things I have never seen before. Certainly we offer the essentials for your home, but among them you will discover things in our store that make you say ‘Whoa. Look at that.’”
